Two-year deal for Huntsville District Nursing Home
Huntsville District Nursing Home has a two-year Collective Agreement. The deal includes increased wages and benefits. There will be a 1.5% wage increase for all members in the first year of the contract and 1.33% in the second year. If an RPN is performing work outside of the bargaining unit for the employer, they will receive an increased premium of $3.50. Previously, this amount was $3. There is also a 0.5% increase to the employer’s contribution to the Group Insurance policy. Improved language was negotiated for the usage of accumulated sick days.
