On May 26, 2012, twenty-seven avid scrapbookers took part in the annual Scrapbook Crop to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.

The event, held this year in the Local Union’s Cambridge office, included make n’ takes, raffle prizes and a BBQ. Many generous people donated prizes and many more bought tickets to win great items like the grand prize, a BlackBerry Playbook, which was won by Tracy Sheffer, a member of Metro 240 in Sarnia. Prizes were also given out for Best Layout and Best Card.

A special thanks goes to the members who attended the Health & Safety weeklong training from May 7 – 11, 2012, who donated prizes to be raffled off for the two classes taking place that week. They raised $162.72 with that raffle and helped bring the Scrapbooking Crop total to $2,474.72.

Thanks to everyone that participated – we look forward to seeing you next year!
