Three-year agreement ratified by workers at the John Howard Society
Members at the John Howard Society of Waterloo-Wellington met on April 2, 2015, to vote on a negotiated settlement with their employer. The three-year agreement includes wage increases of 1% per year of the contract term.
Improvements address increased time limits for arbitrations, timeframe for job postings, as well as greatly enhanced layoff and recall language, and non-Union part-time workers are now included as Members of the Union.
