Exceldor Foods in Hanover ratifies new collective agreement
This seven year agreement contains increases as follows: Year one: $.40 Year two, three and four: $.25 Year five: $.30 Year six: $.35 and Year seven: $.40. These increases will apply to all classifications except live hang who receive will receive $1.40 in year one and then the same increases will apply for the remainder of the term.
Improvements to the boot allowance include $180 on the first of the month that follows ratification and on June 2, 2016, and 2017, effective June 2 2018, 2019 and 2020: $200 and effective June 2, 2021: $250 towards the purchase of C.S.A. approved safety footwear for use on the job.
For the maintenance and engineering departments, tool allowance improvements include $600 effective date of ratification, June 2, 2016 and 2017, $650 on June 2 2018, 2019, 2020, and $700 June 2, 2021.
Benefit improvements include increases to optical coverage in year four and seven as well as improvements to chiropractic, massage therapy, homeopathic and clinical psychiatric coverage in the fourth year of the agreement.
There are language improvements in the areas of grievance, arbitration and job posting procedures.
