On March 25, 2017, the membership at R. Fiedler Meats in Simcoe ratified a new three-year agreement.

Members receive a lump sum payment of $500 following ratification plus increases totalling 2.5% in year two and another 2.5% in year three. The wage grid now includes the new classification Charge Hand Production, which receives an additional $1 per hour in wage increases.

Other monetary improvements include an increase shoe allowance of $125 per year, up from $100, and enhanced eye exam coverage of $115 every two years, up from the previous $75.

Vacation improvements now provide: four paid weeks after 10 years of service, instead of the previous 11; five paid weeks after 18 years instead of 19; and members may now take an additional sixth week (without pay) after 26 years of service.

Language improvements address the negotiating committee, bereavement entitlement, and employer contributions to the Training & Education fund.
