Union Steward Lesley Litwiller retires
Lesley Litwiller, active Steward and H&S Committee member for a number of years, decided to retire on her 65th birthday.
For more than 12 years, Lesley was a great Steward, and she was a certified member of the H&S committee for a long time as well. She retires following 20 years at Food Basics in Kitchener.
Lesley enjoyed her work at the store, and has fond memories of her co-workers and the management. She took part in many Stewards conferences and often took other courses through the Union as well.
“I had very good Union representation over the years,” said Lesley. “Thank you to Sylvia Groom, Brenda Simmons, Roy Reed, and lastly, Virginia Haggith for all of their support through my time as a Union Steward. I also want to thank all the Union Brothers and Sisters I met along the way.”
Lesley retired on October 27, 2017. Congratulations and best wishes to Lesley! Enjoy your retirement.
