May 2008 - Raising funds for the environment...

The Youth Committee raised funds and asked for donations of gardening items to help support the efforts of EcoSource in Mississauga.

EcoSource is an innovative environmental education organization whose hands-on programs focuses on how each of us can change our daily habits to become better environmental citizens.

With the funds raised EcoSource purchased 4 new heavy duty spades, a heavy duty garden rake and a new hose roll cart for their garden shed. They will use the remaining funds to better educate young students through their School Learning Gardens Program. For more information on EcoSource please visit www.ecosource.ca
