President Shawn Haggerty and the staff of Locals 175 & 633 offer one of the most extensive and accessible Membership Training and Education programs in Canada. Did we mention that it`s all free?

That`s right - all programs, classes, online training, in-class opportunities and more are completely free to members and their families.

Weeklong Paid Training

Are you eager to learn? Your Local Union holds three types of Weeklong Paid Training* courses. Specifically designed to help members, stewards and health & safety committee members learn more about worker rights, the role of a Union and more up-to-date information. Held at the Training & Education Centre in Mississauga, participants will be selected and notified for the Spring sessions.

*** SPRING 2013 applications are closed.

* Local Union covers the cost of the course, materials and instruction as well as the members’ lost wages, per diems, transportation costs and accommodations as per Local Union policies.
